G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 1, 2021, Mr. Wood requested “... all emails sent or received by Mayor Spicer that mention ‘Rachel Rd’ or ‘Rachel Road’ between 10/1/2020 - 1/31/2021.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Wood petitioned this office and SPR21/0435 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that a representative from the City intends on providing a written response to Mr. Wood. Accordingly, the City is ordered to provide Mr. Wood with a response made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of the response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Wood may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety days.
