The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records March 11, 2021 SPR21/0500 Agapi Koulouris, Esq. Department of Criminal Justice Information Services 200 Arlington Street, Suite 2200 Chelsea, MA 02150 Dear Attorney Koulouris: I have received the petition of Attorney Debbie Freitas appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Criminal Justice Information Services (Department) to her request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Freitas submitted a request for records related to certain license plate queries within the possession of the Department. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Attorney Freitas petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Freitas may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
