Murray Supervisor of Records March 22, 2021 SPR21/0558 Christopher Guerin Records Access Officer Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance One Ashburton Place, 15th Floor Boston, MA 02108 Dear Mr. Guerin: I have received the petition of David Weimer of MuckRock News appealing the response of the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (Division/DCAMM) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 14, 2021, Mr. Weimer requested, “[a]ll proposals submitted for consideration in response to the RFP for the ‘Strategic Plan for Incarcerated Women in Massachusetts,’ project DOC2104 as advertised in COMMBUYS.” The Division provided a response on March 4, 2021. Unsatisfied with the Division’s response, Mr. Weimer petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/0558, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, in an email correspondence on March 19, 2021, a representative of the Division informed this office that the Division intends on providing Mr. Weimer with a supplemental response. Conclusion Accordingly, the Division is ordered to provide Mr. Weimer with said response, in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Weimer may appeal the substantive nature of the Division’s response within ninety days.
