Murray Supervisor of Records March 22, 2021 SPR21/0559 Stacy Book Massachusetts Parole Board 12 Mercer Road Natick, MA 01760 Dear Ms. Book: I have received the petition of Eric Boodman of the Boston Globe appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Parole Board (Board) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 11, 2021, Mr. Boodman requested copies of “…the number of medical parole petitions that have been granted in 2020 and 2021, and for each of those cases, the date of the medical parole petition, the date the medical parole was granted, the date the parolee was released from custody when applicable, and the date the person died when applicable.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Boodman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/0559, was opened as a result. It is my understanding no response has been provided.
