G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Alexander requested “all invoices received by the Town of Natick for legal services provided in calendar year 2014…” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Alexander petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal and communication from a staff member of the Public Records Division, it remains unclear whether the Town has provided a response. As such, the Town is ordered to provide Mr. Alexander with a written response. Said response shall be made in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Access Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Alexander may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety days.
