Massachusetts Department of Transportation 10 Park Plaza, Suite 3510 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Doyle: I have received the petition of Steve Adams appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Adams requested the “[s]ubmissions in response to MassDOT's 2020 request for interest on parcel 25” within the possession of MassDOT. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Adams petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the request for an appeal, I learned that MassDOT responded to Mr. Adams’ request with a response sent on March 29, 2021. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of MassDOT’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Adams may appeal the substantive nature of MassDOT’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
