Bristol County Sheriff’s Office 400 Faunce Corner Road North Dartmouth, MA 02747 Dear Attorney Rousseau: I have received the petition of Matthew Rocheleau appealing the nonresponse of the Bristol County Sherriff’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Rocheleau requested records of “individuals who applied for employment between January 1, 2015 and the present who disclosed that a family member is employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Rocheleau petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Office indicated its intention to respond to this request. The Office is ordered to provide a response in accordance with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within 10 business days. Mr. Rocheleau may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
