King appealing the nonresponse of the Melrose Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 21, 2020, Ms. King requested a copy of the “...Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Letter of Finding for complaint PRS 4416, redacted of any confidential information.” As of the date of this letter, it is my understanding that the School has not provided Ms. King a response to her request for records. Conclusion Accordingly, the School is ordered to provide Ms. King with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days.
