Dahill Town Clerk Carver Town Hall 108 Main Street Carver, MA 02330 Dear Ms. Dahill: I have received the petition of Mary Dormer appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Carver (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 4, 2021, Ms. Dormer requested various categories of records concerning the position of Head Cook & Facility Supervisor from October 2019 to present. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Town provided Ms. Dormer records responsive to her request. In an email dated March 24, 2021, the Town notes,“…the Town responded to this [request] on March 16th it was a huge packet answering many requests and providing quotes for additional documents that need to be further researched.” Conclusion In light of the Town’s March 24th letter, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Dormer may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
