The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records March 31, 2021 SPR21/0749; SPR21/0752 John J. Wilson, Jr., Esq. City of Methuen Office of the City Clerk 41 Pleasant Street Methuen, MA 01844 Dear Attorney Wilson: I have received the petitions of Bryan Gamby appealing the nonresponse of the City of Methuen Office of the City Clerk (City) to requests for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 14, 2021 and February 1, 2021, Mr. Gamby submitted three (3) separate requests to the City seeking the following: [1] Video footage from the surveillance cameras outside the highway department during a certain time period on January 7, 2021; [2] All camera footage from January 7, 2020 from all cameras at the Methuen transfer station for the whole day; [3] Daily work report log for the environmental management department for the day of January 7, 2020. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Gamby petitioned this office and the following appeals, SPR21/0749 and SPR21/0752, were opened as a result. It is my understanding the City provided a response on March 30, 2021 to Mr. Gamby’s requests. Accordingly, I will consider these administrative appeals closed. Mr. Gamby may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
