Hinckley Barnstable Police Department 1200 Phinneys Ln Hyannis, MA 02601 Dear Ms. Hinckley: I have received the petition of Lawrence Bland appealing the nonresponse of the Barnstable Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Bland requested records relating to certain booking and sally port videos. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Bland petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department responded to Mr. Bland’s request with a response sent on March 25, 2021. Mr. Bland may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
