Box 351 Rowley, MA 01969 Dear Ms. Hazen: I have received the petition of Timothy Toomey appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Rowley (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 29, 2021 Mr. Toomey requested, “…information relating to Town electric light department permits [and] other permitting applications or fixture activities for … [specified addresses] services over the last 6 years.” Claiming to have received no response, Mr. Toomey petitioned this office and SPR21/0977 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided a response dated April 2, 2021. Whereas this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of response to Mr. Toomey’s request, I will now consider this appeal closed. Mr. Toomey may appeal the substantive nature of the Town response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
