Murray Supervisor of Records April 21, 2021 SPR21/1007 Andrea Stone Office of the City Clerk City of Springfield 36 Court Street Springfield, MA 01103 Dear Ms. Stone: I have received your petition on behalf of the City of Springfield (City) seeking an extension of time to furnish copies of the requested public record, or any portion thereof. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.06(4). As required by law, the City provided a copy of the petition to the requestor. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c). On April 2, 2021, Hans Hysenaj requested “[a]ny and all police records, arrest records, investigative report, internal investigations and any type of public records concerning [an identified] suspect. . . .” Conclusion In an email dated April 21, 2021, Hans Hysenaj states that he “and Ms. Stone, from the City of Springfield, have agreed to an extension of 15 business days to look for the records requested.” Based on Hans Hysenaj’s April 21st email, it is unnecessary to opine on the City’s petition at this time.
