Murray Supervisor of Records May 4, 2021 SPR21/1008 Gail Everson Records Access Officer Peabody Police Department 6 Allen's Lane Peabody, MA 01960 Dear Ms. Everson: I have received the petition of Artie Grenier appealing the response of the Peabody Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 12, 2021, Mr. Grenier requested the “CAD/Call Log” and “Incident/Arrest Reports” for a particular address during a specified time period. The Department responded on April 20, 2021, indicating it was withholding responsive records. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Grenier appealed, and this case was opened as a result. In an email to Mr. Grenier and this office on April 22, 2021, the Department provided a supplemental response. The Department enclosed redacted records, and provided an explanation as to why it is withholding others. Given that this appeal was based on the Department’s April 20th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Grenier may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s supplemental response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
