Assistant City Solicitor City of Worcester Law Department 455 Main Street, Room 301 Worcester, MA 01608 Dear Attorney Thompson: I have received the petition of Thomas Matthews of MassLive, appealing the nonresponse of the City of Worcester (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 9, 2021, Mr. Matthews requested identified emails. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Matthews petitioned this office and SPR21/1075 was opened as a result. In a May 4, 2021 email, Mr. Matthews informed this office he wishes to withdraw the administrative appeal. Accordingly, per Mr. Matthews’s request to withdraw his appeal, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
