The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 11, 2021 SPR21/1103 Kelsey M. Porcello, Esq. Nuttall, MacAvoy & Joyce, P.C. City of Fall River Public Schools 1020 Plain Street, Suite 270 Marshfield, Massachusetts 02050 Dear Attorney Porcello: I have received the petition of Collin Dias appealing the response of the City of Fall River Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 2, 2021 and February 3, 2021, Mr. Dias made two separate requests related to emails of identified individuals. The School provided a fee estimate on February 26, 2021, which was paid by Mr. Dais. On April 16, 2021, the School provided an updated fee estimate. Unsatisfied with the School’s April 16th response, Mr. Dias petitioned this office and SPR21/1103 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of the appeal, the School provided a response on May 10, 2021, indicating it “will provide [Mr. Dias] with the responsive documents…by May 21, 2021. Accordingly, where the School intends on providing the responsive records, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Dias may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
