The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 14, 2021 SPR21/1116 Susan M. O’Neil Senior Clerk Records Access Officer Town of Wilmington Police Department 121 Glen Road Wilmington, MA 01887 Dear Ms. O’Neil: I have received the petition of Kelsey Vaccaro appealing the response of the Wilmington Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 29, 2021, Ms. Vaccaro requested, “…a copy of the police record from April 29, 2021, for an incident that occurred at [named company] located at [named address] in Wilmington, MA.” On April 30 2021, the Department responded. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Ms. Vaccaro petitioned this office and SPR21/1116 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department responded to Ms. Vaccaro’s request with a subsequent response sent on May 11, 2021. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s April 30th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Vaccaro may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
