The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 7, 2021 SPR21/1142 Lt. John Geary Lynn Police Department 300 Washington St Lynn, MA 01902 Dear Lt. Geary: I have received the petition of Paul F. Zerola, Esq. of Zerola & Associates, P.C. appealing the nonresponse of the Lynn Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 15, 2021, Attorney Zerola requested a “… [p]olice report for auto accident on 03/15/2021 on Boston Street, in Lynn, MA involving a 4 car loss with [named individuals] …” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Attorney Zerola petitioned this office and SPR21/1142 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department responded to Attorney Zerola’s request with a response sent on May 7, 2021. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Zerola may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~ --' er ./) .. d ,. ~ .. - ~ . Rebecca S.
