The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 28, 2021 SPR21/1233 Melissa Goodell Recording Secretary Onset Fire District 15 Sand Pond Road; P.O. Box 171 Onset, MA 02558 Dear Ms. Goodell: I have received the petition of Lisa Morales appealing the nonresponse of the Onset Fire District (District) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 27, 2021, Ms. Morales requested the following records: [1] Salary including overtime of the ten (10) highest paid District job titles for the year ending December 31, 2020; [2] Current health, dental and life insurance information, including the number of covered persons in each category… Prudential Committee and Water Commissioners; total cost of each plan; District cost of each plan. [3] Total salary paid to [named individual] for 2020 in all positions. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Morales petitioned this office and SPR21/1233, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the District provided a response dated May 10, 2021 to Ms. Morales’ request. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the District’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Morales may appeal the substantive nature of the District’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
