The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 28, 2021 SPR21/1332 Christopher Guerin, Esq. Program Manager Specialist Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance One Ashburton Place, 15th Floor Boston, MA 02108 Dear Attorney Guerin: I have received the petition of Colman Herman appealing the non-response of the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (Division) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 12, 2021, Mr. Herman requested “… communications in the files of DCAMM related to the Friends of the Paragon Carousel for the period January 1, 2021 to the present.” Claiming to having received no response, Mr. Herman petitioned this office and SPR21/1332 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Division responded to Mr. Herman’s request with a response sent on May 27, 2021. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Division’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Herman may appeal the substantive nature of the Division’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
