Box 351 Rowley, MA 01969 Dear Ms. McClenaghan: I have received the petition of Timothy Toomey appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Rowley (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 5, 2021 Mr. Toomey requested records of “… all information relating to [the] Town of Rowley May 3 Town Meeting comment made by town counsel regarding farms [being] exempt from zoning bylaws.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Toomey petitioned this office and SPR21/1348 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town responded to Mr. Toomey’s request with a response sent on June 3, 2021. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
