Marvin Communications Director Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance Office of the General Counsel One Ashburton Place, 15th Floor Boston, MA 02108 Dear Mr. Marvin: I have received the petition of Colman Herman appealing the response of the Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance (DCAMM) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 12, 2021, Mr. Herman requested, “… all communications in the files of DCAMM related to the Friends of the Paragon Carousel for the period January 1, 2021 to the present.” DCAMM responded on May 27, 2021. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Herman appealed and SPR21/1353 was opened as result. Subsequently, I learned that DCAMM provided a response on June 14, 2021. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the of DCAMM’s May 27th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Herman may appeal the substantive nature of DCAMM’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
