The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records June 15, 2021 SPR21/1422 Shirley E. Schult Town of Billerica 365 Boston Road Billerica, MA 01821 Dear Ms. Schult: I have received the petition of Dean Carman appealing the response of the Town of Billerica (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June, 2, 2021, Mr. Carman requested “…a copy of the Q4 2021 tax bill for [an identified address].” The Town provided a response on June 4, 2021, which included a fee estimate. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Mr. Carman petitioned this office and SPR21/1422 was opened as a result. In an email dated June 7, 2021, Mr. Carman states, “[p]lease accept this e-mail as my formal withdrawal of the appeal I submitted on Friday 6/4/2021...” In light of Mr. Carman’s June 7th communication, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Dean Carman Clancy Main One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
