The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records June 16, 2021 SPR21/1456 Michael J. Driscoll Town of Watertown Office of the Town Manager 149 Main Street Watertown, MA 02472 Dear Mr. Driscoll: I have received the petition of Julie Ahern-Pugliese appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Watertown Office of the Town Manager (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 19, 2021, Ms. Ahern-Pugliese requested “…all public information regarding how the Town calculates my [Ms. Ahern-Pugliese] water and sewer bills during the years, 2013 to 2021.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Ahern-Pugliese petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/1456, was opened as a result. Subsequently, it is my understanding a representative of KP Law, serving as Town Counsel, provided a response dated May 29, 2021 to Ms. Ahern-Pugliese’s request. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Ahern-Pugliese may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Ms. Julie Ahern-Pugliese Gregg J.
