Nichols Taunton Police Department 23 Summer Street Taunton, MA 02780 Dear Lieutenant Nichols: I have received the petition of Attorney Nicole M. Avitabile appealing the nonresponse of the Taunton Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Avitabile requested reports for motor vehicle accidents from June 4, 2021 through June 10, 2021. Having received no response, she petitioned our office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Department provided a supplemental response on June 29, 2021. In light of this supplemental response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Attorney Avitabile may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
