Murray Supervisor of Records July 7, 2021 SPR21/1623 Daniel Warwick Superintendent Springfield Public Schools 195 State Street Springfield, MA 01103 Dear Superintendent Warwick: I have received the petition of Kevin Ksen of the Carpenters Local 366 appealing the non-response of the Springfield Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 26, 2021, Mr. Ksen requested, “… construction payrolls on the Brightwood Elementary School construction project [including] 1. the wage determination 2. the clerk logs for the project up to the present day 3. all certified payrolls submitted by Chandler Architectural Products with OSHA cards.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Ksen petitioned this office and SPR21/1623 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that a response was provided to Mr. Ksen on July 6, 2021. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the School’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Ksen may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
