The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records July 21, 2021 SPR21/1772 Ashley Carvalho, Esq. Massachusetts Port Authority One Harborside Drive, Suite 200S East Boston, MA 02128 Dear Attorney Carvalho : I have received the petition of May Kyi appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Port Authority (MassPort) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Kyi requested “records describing the amount of any and all payments in lieu of taxes made to the City of Boston since 2011 to the present day; documents amending any payments in lieu of taxes for the aforementioned years; the PILOT Agreement between the City of Boston and the Massport that expires June 2022.” Having received no response, she petitioned our office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, MassPort provided a response on Wednesday, July 21st. In light of this response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Ms. Kyi may appeal the substantive nature of MassPort’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
