Waddick Waltham City Clerk 610 Main Street Waltham, MA 02452 Dear Mr. Waddick: I have received the petition of Mr. Jonathan Goldman appealing the nonresponse of the Waltham Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Goldman requested various data as it pertains to the impacts that COVID-19 had on the educational outcomes and experiences of students, broken down by race. Having received no response, he petitioned our office. Subsequently, the School provided a response on July 21, 2021. In light of this response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Mr. Goldman may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
