Williams Records Access Officer City of Boston 1 City Hall Square, Room 615 Boston, MA 02201 Dear Attorney Williams: I have received the petition of Walter Wuthmann appealing the nonresponse of the Boston Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Wuthmann requested “for the time period Jan. 1, 2018 to present… a database of Use of Force Reports and their corresponding findings.” Having received no response, he petitioned this office. Subsequently, I learned the Department provided a response on July 19th. In light of this response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Mr. Wuthmann may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
