G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 7, 2021, Ms. Afonso requested “copies of all emails and any other correspondence, including text messages, regarding [two individuals], MA GOP, MA Republican party, [a specific address].” The Town responded on July 15, 2021, providing responsive records in redacted form. Unsatisfied with a redaction in a specific email, Ms. Afonso appealed, and this case was opened as a result. Subsequently I learned the record in question has been provided in un-redacted form.
