Nuttall Fire Chief Abington Fire Department 1040 Bedford Street Abington, MA 02351 Dear Chief Nuttall: I have received the petition of William Creighton appealing the response of the Abington Fire Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Creighton requested “a list of businesses operating on Hjelm Street.” The Department provided Mr. Creighton with a response. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Creighton petitioned this office and SPR21/1802 was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Department provided a supplemental response on August 3, 2021. In light of this response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Creighton may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s August 3rd response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
