Murray Supervisor of Records July 27, 2021 SPR21/1847 Ms. Kerri Striebel Pittsfield Police Department 39 Allen Street Pittsfield, MA 01201 Dear Ms. Striebel: I have received the petition of Jordan Rich appealing the nonresponse of the City of Pittsfield Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Rich requested records relating to an incident in which a vehicle struck a pedestrian. Having received no response, Mr. Rich petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequently, the Department provided a response on July 27th. In light of this response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Mr. Rich may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within 90 days.
