The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records August 11, 2021 SPR21/1883 John Chistolini Conservatory Lab Charter School 2120 Dorchester Avenue Dorchester, MA 02124 Dear Mr. Chistolini: I have received the petition of Marion King appealing the response of the Conservatory Lab Charter School (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). On July 12, 2021, Ms. King requested the “Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Letter of Finding” for an identified complaint. The School responded on July 13, 2021. Unsatisfied with the response, Ms. King petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/1883 was opened as a result. Based upon a conversation between a Public Records Division staff attorney and a School representative, it is my understanding that the School intends on providing a subsequent response to Ms. King. Accordingly, the School is ordered to provide Ms. King with a response to the request in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within 10 business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. King may appeal the substantive nature of the School's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, .' ,, , - ·• · . ~ Rebecca S.
