Murray Supervisor of Records August 3, 2021 SPR21/1897 Captain Scott McNamara City of Lawrence Police Department 90 Lowell Street Lawrence, MA 01840 Dear Captain McNamara: I have received the petition of Luis Costales appealing the response of the City of Lawrence Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Mr. Costales requested records regarding traffic stops in February and March 2021. Unsatisfied with the Department not providing the records, Mr. Costales petitioned the Supervisor of Records, and this appeal was opened. On August 2, 2021, the Department, through the City’s Attorney Raquel D. Ruano, provided Mr. Costales with the responsive records. Accordingly, whereas the Department provided Mr. Costales with the records, I will now consider this appeal closed. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
