Murray Supervisor of Records August 6, 2021 SPR21/1909 Captain Michelle Mangino City of Revere Police Department 400 Revere Beach Parkway Revere, MA 02151 Dear Captain Mangino: I have received the petition of Patrick Bryant, Esq. appealing the nonresponse of the Revere Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Bryant requested various categories of records in the Department’s possession. Having received no response, he petitioned our office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Department provided a response on August 2nd responding to parts 10, 19, 22, 26, and 27 of Attorney Bryant’s request and indicating it is working to respond to the remaining sections. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide said response, in accordance with the Public Records Law and its Regulations, within ten business days. A copy of any such response must also be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. If Attorney Bryant is unsatisfied, he may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
