The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records August 5, 2021 SPR21/1913 Lorraine Rousseau Bristol County Sheriff’s Office 400 Faunce Corner Road Dartmouth, MA 02747 Dear Ms. Rousseau: I have received the petition of Todd Wallack appealing the nonresponse of the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Mr. Wallack requested “a log of internal affairs complaints/investigations against sworn officers in the department/agency.” Having received no response, Mr. Wallack petitioned this office. Subsequently, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated August 4, 2021. Where this matter was opened based upon the Office’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Wallack may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
