G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Wallack requested an “electronic log of internal affairs complaints/investigations against sworn officers of the Barnstable Police Department as far back as you maintain the log in your current computer system.” Having received no response, he petitioned our office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Department indicated it has provided a response on July 21st. In light of this response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Mr. Wallack may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
