Mason appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Bourne Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 12, 2021, Mr. Mason requested “[t]he dispatch call, 911 call and radio transmissions” in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Mason petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/1967, was opened as a result. It is my understanding a representative of the Department provided a response dated August 4, 2021 to Mr. Mason’s request. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
