The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records August 20, 2021 SPR21/2024 Carrie Torrisi, Esq. Associate General Counsel Massachusetts Gaming Commission 101 Federal Street, 12th Floor Boston, MA 02110 Dear Attorney Torrisi: I have received the petition of Jennifer Williams-Alvarez appealing the response of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (Commission) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Williams-Alvarez requested “[d]ocuments mentioning or related to Wynn Resorts, Encore Boston Harbor, or similar name, from January 1, 2017 to the present.” The Commission provided a response on July 7, 2021. Unsatisfied with the Commission’s response, Ms. Williams-Alvarez petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/2024, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Commission provided a supplemental response on August 20, 2021. Where the basis of this appeal was the July 7th response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Ms. Williams-Alvarez may appeal the substantive nature of the Commission’s August 20th response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
