Department of State Police 470 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Attorney Hynes: I have received the petition of Robert K appealing the nonresponse of the Department of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Robert K requested the personnel file and other related records to a certain State Police Officer. Having received no response, he petitioned this office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Department provided a response on Monday, August 16th. In light of this response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Robert K may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within 90 days.
