G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Ms. Karas requested records regarding a murder investigation. The Department provided Ms. Karas with a response. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Ms. Karas petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/2033, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Department provided a supplemental response on August 13, 2021. Where the basis of this appeal was the Department’s prior response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
