G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 14, 2021, Ms. Sikes requested “access to and a copy of Number of complaints, internal and external, against Weston Police in general, or against individual officers, received between July 22, 2019 and June 14, 2021. Copy of these unredacted complaints except where redactions are required by law.” Previous Appeal This request was the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR21/1972 Supervisor of Records Determination (August 4, 2021). In my August 4th determination, I closed SPR21/1972 in light of the Town providing a written response on August 13, 2021. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Ms. Sikes appealed, and this case was opened as a result. Conclusion Subsequently, in an email to Ms. Sikes and this office on August 24, 2021, an attorney for the Town provided a supplemental response. Given that this appeal was opened based on the Town’s August 13th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Sikes may further appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s August 24th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
