The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records August 30, 2021 SPR21/2086 Kim Gouveia Public Records Access Officer Middlesex District Attorney’s Office 15 Commonwealth Avenue Woburn, MA 01801 Dear Ms. Gouveia: I have received the petition of Susan J. Baronoff, Esq. of Baronoff Law Office appealing the response of the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 15, 2021, Attorney Baronoff requested certain records from the Office. The Office responded on July 15, 2021. Unsatisfied with the response, Attorney Baronoff petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/2086, was opened as a result. Based upon a communication between a Public Records Division staff attorney and the Office, it is my understanding that the Office intends on providing a subsequent response to Attorney Baronoff. Accordingly, the Office is ordered to provide Attorney Baronoff with a response to her request in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Attorney Baronoff may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Susan J. Baronoff, Esq.
