Murray Supervisor of Records August 31, 2021 SPR21/2131 Darcy Fernandes, Superintendent Athol-Royalston Regional School District 1062 Pleasant Street Athol, MA 01331 Dear Superintendent Fernandes: I have received the petition of Marion King appealing the nonresponse of the Athol- Royalston Regional School District (District) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. King requested the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s letter of finding for an identified complaint. Having received no response, Ms. King petitioned this office. Subsequently, this office was notified by Ms. King that a response was provided. Where this matter was opened based upon the District’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. King may appeal the substantive nature of the District’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
