McIntyre Chief of Police Stoneham Police Department 47 Central Street Stoneham, MA 02180 Dear Chief McIntyre: I have received the petition of Michael Motherway, appealing the response of the Stoneham Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 18, 2021, Mr. Motherway requested, an incident report from 2014-2019. On August 23, 2021, the Department responded. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Motherway petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/2169, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department responded to Mr. Motherway’s request with a supplemental response sent on September 1, 2021. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s August 23rd response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Motherway may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
