The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records September 3, 2021 SPR21/2246 Jennifer A. Pratt Department RAO City of Framingham 150 Concord Street Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Ms. Pratt: I have received the petition of Olufunmilola Shelly appealing the nonresponse of the City of Framingham (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 5, 2021, Ms. Shelly requested identified emails between 1/1/2021 and 8/5/2021. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Shelly petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/2246, was opened as a result. Despite the August 5, 2021 correspondence sent by the City, it remains unclear whether the City has provided a response to the records request. Accordingly, the City is ordered to respond to Ms. Shelly’s request in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of the response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Shelly may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
