Murray Supervisor of Records September 24, 2021 SPR21/2357 Jennifer Richard Administrative Assistant to the Select Board Town of Savoy 720 Main Road Savoy, MA 02156 Dear Ms. Richard: I have received the petition of Sean Hempseed, appealing the response of the Town of Savoy (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 9, 2021, Mr. Hempseed requested numerous documents from the Town. On September 14, 2021, the Town responded. On September 14, 2021, Mr. Hempseed modified his request and sought “…copies of all notes written at any time by any member of the select board or planning committee/board which mention my name and/or marijuana since March 1, 2020… This request includes any and all written notes by any and all persons who have at any time been officially employed, elected or appointed to represent the town of Savoy, MA since March 1, 2020.” Unsatisfied with the Town’s September 14th response, Mr. Hempseed petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/2357, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town responded to Mr. Hempseed request with a further response. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s September 14th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Hempseed may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s subsequent response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
