The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records September 27, 2021 SPR21/2430 Heather Emsley Director of Human Capital Services 455 County Street, Room 101 New Bedford, MA 02740 Dear Ms. Emsley: I have received the petition of Cara Busch appealing the nonresponse of the New Bedford Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Busch requested, “...an SRO video that was played during one of the NBPS-led community sessions.” Having received no response, Ms. Morales petitioned this office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the School provided a response on September 24, 2021. In light of this response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Ms. Busch may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s September 24th response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
