The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records October 8, 2021 SPR21/2473 Debi McCarthy Records Access Officer Town of Bourne Police Department 175 Main Street Bourne, MA 02532 Dear Ms. McCarthy: I have received the petition of Nathan Dill appealing the response of the Bourne Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 30, 2021, Mr. Dill requested incident reports and 911 calls related to an identified address. The Department provided a response on September 10, 2021. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Dill petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/2473, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the Department provided a supplemental response on September 28, 2021. Given that this appeal was opened based on the September 10th response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Dill may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s September 28th response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Nathan Dill Lt.
