Newell Southborough Police Department 32 Cordaville Road Southborough, MA 01772 Dear Lieutenant Newell: I have received the petition of Patrick J. Mason appealing the nonresponse of the Southborough Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 29, 2021, Mr. Mason requested certain documents in reference to a specific motor vehicle incident report. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Mason petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR21/2717, was opened as a result. It is my understanding Mr. Mason notified a staff member of the Public Records Division on October 20, 2021 that he has received all requested documents concerning this appeal, SPR21/2717. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mason may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
